1. Sentence Stretchers

Task: Start with a basic sentence like “The dog ran.”

Now stretch it!

Example: ""The big brown dog ran quickly through the park because he saw a squirrel.""


1. The dog ran.

Ans : The dog ran fast.

2. The cat slept.

Ans : The cat slept on the soft bed.

3. The boy ate.

Ans : The boy ate a snack.

4. The bird sang.

Ans : The bird sang in the sky.

5. The girl danced.

Ans : The girl danced on stage.

6. The baby cried.

Ans : The baby cried because she was hungry.

7. The car stopped.

Ans : The car stopped the red light.

8. The sun rose.

Ans :The sun rose in the sky.

9. The kids laughed.

Ans : The kids laughed playing outside.

10. The fish swam.

Ans : The fish swam fast.
